A very long story short, my car needed additional work to be completed outside of the body shop. My insurance … More company’s appraiser APPROVED this repair to be completed at a local BMW Dealership. This approved work was completed, but then “upon further review” the appraiser reneged on his written approval and then denied the claim.
How can my insurance company approve a claim, allow the work to be done, and then un-approve the claim and then tell me im on the hook for the additional cost (on work I never approved)!
For almost 2 weeks my car was repaired and ready to be picked up, but due to my insurance company backing out of their approved repair with the Dealership that left me stuck in the middle with an unpaid invoice.
Again, a huge thanks to Dan for going out of his way and helping me deal with my insurance company. He was able to personally speak to my insurance agency’s escalation group reinforcing the injustice of what was happening to me.
My insurance company finally agreed to pay for the work they APPROVED in the first place. Without Dan’s help I have a feeling that I would still be waiting for my car or, even worse, have to pay for a repair that was originally covered.
Finally, Dan and his team did a great job repairing the damage that my BMW X5 suffered due to a deer strike and would certainly recommend his shop to anyone who needs body work done to their car.

0 Stars to my Insurance Company (Targeted towards military members and their families US/AA) very disappointed in them and their appraisers, spoke to the appraiser's manager who was very rude and condescending. Approving repairs, then unapproving them (after the work was done) because they said it "was not related to the accident".
Just know, they don't have your back and are starting to nickel and dime on issues. Took 2 weeks of calls from both me and Dan to get them to finally move on and pay for a repair they APPROVED in the first place. -
